Pros and cons of 8Bitone+ MICRO COMPOSER app for iPhone and iPad

8Bitone+ MICRO COMPOSER app good for

8bitone is a nice little music tool. Its easy to learn. I just miss WAV / midi Export and Audiocopy into beatmaker.
This has a really nice interface, complex but easy to use. Only downfall is that you can only use 8 bit synths - maybe we can get more?
At first I found it really complicated but you just need to go through it step by step. Make different intruments and not just synths. Oh and make demo voices so its easier to make a song. Lots of fun!!! Probaly the best app I have. AmaZing!!! And only. 99cents. Definetly worth the money! I would pay $6 for this app.
great app.really fun and great learning.Id like to see a tutorial for making purcussion sounds.or have new additions to the syth itself.keep it up!
pretty awesome but could use a few things. it would be nice to be able to copy more than one block in the sequencer. so if you have a musical phrase thats longer than one block, you could easily loop it. other than that everything works pretty great for $3! One last thing though: what on earth does that green circular button do at the top of the screen near the metronome?? Someone needs to write a comprehensive guide for this thing!
Needs export to audiocopy, or dropbox or something. I cant believe Id have to record out to an computer or portable recorder to get the audio. Come on dudes!! Update please!

Some bad moments

4 tracks is not enough, and Im disappointed that the tracks cant be edited while the loop is playing. If you can fix these problems I would rate five stars!
The interface is very easy to use, great design, although my big fingers get in the way of the tiny dials at times. Its a remarkably full featured music editor. Very impressed by the tunes I was able to create, and just how quickly I was able to create them. The only feedback I would have is that deleting notes is a little tricky, I would prefer a simple double tap on the note to delete it as opposed to selecting the note, then selecting delete. Great app for making chiptunes, looking forward to hours of experimenting with this one, not to mention seeing how it holds up for a live performance once Ive put together a few good tunes. Great work Yudo!
Better know what you are doing but it got potential to really create full tracks like in the good old times Really good graphics and use of the gesture and multi touch
I love this app. Great for making fun chiptune music!! Amazing interface and extremely easy to use. All the sounds and arps are great, youll be making tunes in minutes. As much as I love using noise for percussion I would really love to see some low bit drums(kicks, hi hat and snares) kinda like lsdj:)
This a great synthesizer for being on a phone, lots of features and sounds great.
While this isnt the best synth and sequencing app on the iPhone, it certainly is the most comprehensive and innovative title to date. Being a huge fan of chip tunes and gaming in general, I was very exciting when I first heard about this program. And while it lives up to my expectations, there is a severe lack of user comparability to a certain degree. Yes the app itself is easy enough to use if you know your way around even the most basic of sequencers or synths, but if you run into trouble...well, youre pretty much flat out of luck. To date the only manual available is in Japanese. And the user help online is virtually non existant. I suppose it takes time for anything to form a fanbase, abs hopefully this is the case with 8bittone. Youd think that an English translation would be included with the app, but the link provided in the program only takes you to a Japanese information page. Apps like this are all about figuring things out yourself, but there is a certain degree of a learning curve involved, so unless you already know what youre doing, theres a good chance youll just be lost at sea with no direction to guide you to shore.
