8Bitone+ MICRO COMPOSER App yorumlar

Lots of bugs

Good app downside is there’s a lot of bugs I had to reinstall this app to fix a problem that the music won’t play.

Love it but can’t download my tunes I made

I wish there’s tutorials in regards to posting from a music app

Great

I can make 8 bit music now! yay!

sUPER GOOD

I’ve bin looking 2 years for a 8bit music maker this is literally the BEST ONE YET. I know a lot of people will complain about this but I think it’s really good. this app has been here for over a decade I think its good the way it is.

Poor design

Kind of a hassle to mess with. No thanks.

8bit

Pretty bummed there’s no recent tutorials on YouTube the ones I found were 0 help you couldn’t see or read what they were doing and there’s no talking at all. I didn’t see a help bar or tutorial in the ap either. No clue how to make anything work. It’s a shame cause it looks fun but I have no way of knowing how to use it

Hidden gem

As another reviewer said, this appears to be a legit hidden gem. Not sure whether or had issues previously or if prior reviewers just didn’t know how to use it but as of this posting, it’s a fully operational synth, piano roll, sequencer with a lot of mod options! Huge pleasant surprise. I’m stoked to see what all it can do it looks fairly deep honestly. My only knock so far is screen size. Needs to be resized so it fits modern iPads.

Hidden gem?

Cool app featuring a digital synth and a piano-roll style sequencer. Works for me on 6th gen iPod Touch. Controls are easy enough to work out if you are familiar with DAWs. App is geared to those who want to build a track up from a sine wave level.

Potential

This app would be so awesome if it was GarageBand plug-in instead.

Decent App, But Needs Improvement

The app is great for composing 8-bit sound tracks, but why do the tracks always stop and restart at 16 measures when played back?

Great app but needs an update!

This app is incredible, works great, but its time for an update. It's needs to be updated for iPhone 5 and it definitely needs multitasking. Although this app hasn't been updated in forever so I'm not getting my hopes up.

No sound

Like others, the app has no sound when you touch the keyboard. Seriously, aren't these tested?

No Sound

iPod Touch 4g IOS 5.1.1 App version 2.0.1 So far no sound at all. Tried reinstalling and rebooting to no effect. Stay clear until an update resolves the issue. Until then, one star is all I can give.

Doesn't work, no sound

I wanted to give it zero stars but that isn't possible. There is no sound when I use this app. No sound means that it is a 4 dollar ripoff, I feel like an idiot for buying this app. I plan on emailing the developers about this. There is an outside chance that this is just a fluke and I am making a mistake but i don't imagine that is the case. People shouldn't sell things that don't work, I hope this warns potential customers, and I hope this issue is resolved I was excited at the prospect of having a sequencer like this on my phone but was let down.

Great app

This app is excellent, my only complaint is 4 tracks. But sometimes limitations can cause one to be more creative. So I'm reading the reviews and see some incorrect info. 'kapachacki' said he would give it 5 stars if it had a loop function, it does. On the sequencer page move the right and left page markers at the top to select your play region. Also there is English instructions google '8bitone English tutorial'.

Quite nice, no export option

Is a nice app, cant export creations. Useless so far.

Computer Version Please!

It's an amazing app but there's only one thing wrong with it. Too small! Everything is so small that it's hard to use so it takes forever to make a song. Please make a computer version. It would make everything so much easier.

Cool for three bucks

Pretty enjoyable for what it is, but without English instructions it's all but impossible to make a good chiptune without prior knowledge.

:D

This app is great and actually has a lot to work with! The only things that would make it perfect are if it could record live and if it had a few more tracks. 4 feels a bit limited. Other than that I would say this app is worth getting :D

Sega genesis years

Brings back a buttload of memories. The best 8bit music programmer on the iPhone. Definitely a must get!!

Great App!

I love this app, but I wish it easier to type in notes. Also English instructions would be appreciated.

Amazingly detailed....

But a bit complicated. Still, it is one of the best apps I have ever bought.

Love it!

Fantastic sound and flexibility

<3

i wuv this app! im into chiptune music and was gonna buy LSDj but this works just as well. gladly paid 3$ for it, you should too! YEAH YOU!

Meh...

Great sounds but has sort of sloppy interface... Takes too much time to make a song. Fix it!!!

Eh...

Great visuals. I wish I had known you could only "record" via piano roll input. I thought I would be able to push a record button, play out something on the keyboard, stop and edit like all sequencers in the world! Too costly for no live record ability.

8bit crazy!

It doesn't have a filter or phaser/flanger, but other than that it's pure 8bit nostalgia! I will be using this in my future productions. Thanks!

cool - but what's with the clicking sound?

nice app - but i'm getting a clicking sound when each note starts...?

Awesome

I've been looking everywhere for a nice 8bit composer. It's great that I can have it on my touch, and mess around and make some quick 8bit tunes. You will have to plat with it for a while to get proficient with the UI. Plenty of "how to" vids on the site. Thanks yudo!

Retro Perfect

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. There really is an app for everything! This app can do everything you would ever need for making quality retro chip tunes. My only complaint is that there is no export as wav feature (unless I missed it). It limits it's purpose to an extent without it. It can be a challenge to use at first, but just mess around with it for a bit - it comes to you pretty fast. I've already made some Kid Icarus style retro music after about an hour of use - what more could you ask for? And for .99 cents (at the time of this review), it's a steal.

Why did I buy this

At least it was 99 cents. I don't know why I bought this, I already had sunvox. You can do so much more with it., and it now only is a dollar more, and normally it is five dollars cheaper.

Underground NES movement approved

I have been waiting for a replacement for the 6502 emulating tracker called NERD TRACKER for years. It did not work on most computers, but it was brilliant. You could compile the music into tour own video games, or even put them on rom, and play them in a real NES. That was Michel iwanec's program. Joe parcel and his minion Andy coppess were disciples of Banamos. Memblers, did you have anything to do with this? This is great, slick programming. Get it!!! In addition, this is the only piano roll type sequencer on iPhone!!! Worth $10. Got it on Sale though.

English documentation please!!!

Cool but really needs translation otherwise it's a lot of fumbling to figure it out

Got it on sale, here are my thoughts

I was looking to get this app but I didn't have the $10 to buy it. Then I found it for 99cents on Genius and had to get it. First, the positives. The instrument editor is fairly complex. It allows you to use pulse waves, noise, triangle waves, and even sawtooth and sinewaves. It even has an appregator and an LFO to rapidly change pitch and volume. The stretchy piano roll is kind of fun, too. You can jump to another measure by pressing the blocks in the sequencer tab. However, there were a couple negatives. The most disappointing one was that you can only edit 4 instruments PER SONG. Not 4 instruments at a time like most chiptune software on other platforms. This makes it difficult to create a tune with kick and snare noise. Also, the knobs in the instrument editor and the octave slide can take a little getting used to. The TCR, which controls the playback and open/saves files requires touching a tiny button. Overall, this app is fun, but I don't recommend it for $10 until they add more instruments/ the ability to change instruments on the fly.

Lots of potential

This a great little app with lots of capabilities, but it's missing some key features: the ability to export songs you've created, change the properties of tracks midway through a song (just add more tracks!), and providing a way to view more than one track at a time in the piano roll. I'm having lots of fun with this, but would like to share what I've created!

Killer deal-get it NOW

A small UI tweek made a MAJOR improvement for fat fingered frustration. Better snag this app while you can for a BUCK, it's a $10 app. The UI still a little fussy for me, doesn't hardly matter considering what this app can do for the 8bit geek. WARNING: you MUST reboot your device after installing or the arp won't work/will crash. This is standard practice for any music app-- but some still forget.

Wow. Can't stop playing with it.

This app is great for making music. Brilliant interface and a great value.

Worth it

This is worth every penny, it has relatively simple controls, and you can do a lot with what they give you

Powerfully Powered Up  

Awesome App that is very good at what it does. Only complaint I have is the small buttons are hard to hit sometimes. Expect a good but steep learning curve 

Outstanding

If you are even familiar with the phrase "chip tunes", you need this app. Very robust editing, great graphics, and loaded with potential.

well done, but not perfect

This is extremely impressive. Quite an achievement. HOWEVER, to justify the price tag, PLEASE update it to include "preset" voices. It is frustrating to have to manually figure out how to create a "bass drum" kick sound, and if I finally get it, I will have to devote one of the only 4 possible tracks to that 1 sound. Please make it easier for the average user by loading it with optional pre-made voices - like NESynth does. Otherwise, that app is going to win over potential buyers.

Great app

5 stars for the app but minus one for no English manual.

Cool but buggy

I have found it pretty straight forward to use, and quite cool but have run into some definite bugs in the short time I've used it. The copy/paste behavior can be weird and inconsistent. I've also had some crashes (2 or 3) trying to rewind in the piano roll screen. Hopefully all this will get smoothed out. Other than that, very cool app.

Great app, lacking support

While this isn't the best synth and sequencing app on the iPhone, it certainly is the most comprehensive and innovative title to date. Being a huge fan of chip tunes and gaming in general, I was very exciting when I first heard about this program. And while it lives up to my expectations, there is a severe lack of user comparability to a certain degree. Yes the app itself is easy enough to use if you know your way around even the most basic of sequencers or synths, but if you run into trouble...well, you're pretty much flat out of luck. To date the only manual available is in Japanese. And the user help online is virtually non existant. I suppose it takes time for anything to form a fanbase, abs hopefully this is the case with 8bittone. You'd think that an English translation would be included with the app, but the link provided in the program only takes you to a Japanese information page. Apps like this are all about figuring things out yourself, but there is a certain degree of a learning curve involved, so unless you already know what you're doing, there's a good chance you'll just be lost at sea with no direction to guide you to shore.

Awesome synth

This a great synthesizer for being on a phone, lots of features and sounds great.

Amazing

I love this app. Great for making fun chiptune music!! Amazing interface and extremely easy to use. All the sounds and arps are great, you'll be making tunes in minutes. As much as I love using noise for percussion I would really love to see some low bit drums(kicks, hi hat and snares) kinda like lsdj:)

Cool app advanced user

Better know what you are doing but it got potential to really create full tracks like in the good old times Really good graphics and use of the gesture and multi touch

Really fun, well made chiptune composer

The interface is very easy to use, great design, although my big fingers get in the way of the tiny dials at times. It's a remarkably full featured music editor. Very impressed by the tunes I was able to create, and just how quickly I was able to create them. The only feedback I would have is that deleting notes is a little tricky, I would prefer a simple double tap on the note to delete it as opposed to selecting the note, then selecting delete. Great app for making chiptunes, looking forward to hours of experimenting with this one, not to mention seeing how it holds up for a live performance once I've put together a few good tunes. Great work Yudo!
